I went out & about with a friend of mine and her two kids this last Sunday. We took in all the colors, sights, and smells that autumn brings to the Hills. Enjoy a few of my favorites shots!

Had an awesome day, yesterday, with a handsome little boy and his folks. Baby D is such a cutie. He had a rough start but as soon as his belly was full, he was ready to pose for my camera!

{Goodbye Old Friend}

This week our town lost a dear friend. Maynard was a great person, talented musician, loving husband and father. He lived for music and was absolutely amazing. Whenever he played it was like he touched your soul. Maynard will be missed dearly.

I had the best time with these girls the other day! Grandma must be overjoyed or possibly frantic for the arrival of her three grandbabies. I am so blessed to have had this opportunity to photograph three sisters pregnant at the same time. They are undeniably astonishing, amusing, stunning ladies and I cannot wait to meet the babies! Here are just a few of my favorites!

{Easter}

I had a wonderful Easter Sunday, spent with my husband, my girls, and my 'adopted family'. I was able to get in a quick photo shoot with my girls all dressed up! They were super excited to be able to wear heels like mom, I however was not too sure about little girls in heels, but their dad said it was okay.

{Spring}

Spring is just around the corner and I can not wait! Although we have been blessed with wonderful weather, I am still waiting for it to be official. Here on the homestead we have started planting in our green house. We planted lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, and peppers so far. The seeds have sprouted and that has only made my longing for spring even worse. I can not wait for tasty treats straight from our garden!

{Sunday Drive}

My husband and I went for a drive in Custer State Park. We enjoyed sometime to ourselves, lost in conversation and taking in the sights. Just as we entered the park we came across this beautiful sight. While I have many photos of bison, more commonly referred to as buffalo, this was a sight worth shooting.

These antelope, or pronghorn, were resting in a meadow as the bison grazed past. I thought to myself how lucky I am to have been able to capture this. Little did I know, this is a fairly common occurrence to witness; for just down the road we saw this:
